In 2016, I had the pleasure of working along side Kathmandu to create a product that would enhance the camping experience. I designed and made a waterproof jacket with added weatherproof solar panels to charge small devices when needed. The jacket is made using a matte black PVC material with waterproof sealed zips making the jacket very waterproof in heavy rain conditions. There is also armpit slits with a perforated mesh exposed with a zip along the arm seam to allow for ventilation during humid climates.

I wanted to create something that would be suitable for an remote rainforest, camping or a concrete jungle. As I felt this would allow the user to get the most out of the product instead of the occasional use if used for camping alone.
